Retire Today ("we", "us", "our") provides information and an enquiry service for owners of solvent UK businesses. What data we collect
When you use our enquiry form or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, business details (such as sector, location, number of employees and whether the business is solvent) and anything else you choose to tell us. We also collect technical and marketing data such as advertising click identifiers (for example gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, matchtype) and the page you arrived on.
How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and give you an honest view of your options.
- To contact you about your enquiry by phone or email.
- To understand which adverts and pages lead to enquiries, so we can improve them.
Lawful basis
We rely on your consent (which you give on the form) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our service. Where we use advertising and analytics cookies, we rely on your consent, which you can give or withdraw through our cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you (for example our form and email providers, and Google for advertising and analytics where you have consented). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business records, then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
